The specialized course “Exercise for Health” is designed to provide
learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to work effectively as
professionals in the field of exercise for health services. This course covers various
topics related to exercise programming, health assessment, nutrition, behavior
change, and program management. It includes both theoretical and practical
components to ensure that learners can apply their knowledge in real-world
settings.
By the end of the course, learners will be well-prepared to work as
Exercise for Health Specialists and positively impact individuals’ health and
well-being through exercise programs and physical activity.
Course Curriculum
Internship
During the final two months of the course, learners will undertake an
internship to apply the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program in
a practical setting. This internship provides hands-on experience in working
with participants, designing exercise programs, conducting assessments, and
managing exercise-for-health programs.
Assessment Methods
Learners’ understanding and skills in each section are evaluated through
various assessment methods, including written assessments, portfolio
assessments, case studies, presentations, practical assessments, observation, role-playing,
group activities, and online tests.
